How to Safely Set Up an Extension Ladder

Set the feet on level and stable ground. If the ground isn't level it can cause the ladder to topple with you on it. If the ground is soft one leg can sink in and down you will come. And if the surface is slick or slippery that bad news again.

Take a few minutes to safely setup your extension ladder and you'll save yourself from a dangerous and potentially life threatening situation.
