Risk Factors for Developing Vibration White Finger
- Vibrations between 2-500 Hz
- Vibrations between 5-20 Hz are
- Using a tight grip
- Prolonged exposure without breaks
- Direct exposure without personal protective equipment
- Large area of the hands exposed
- Poor circulation (due to cold, tobacco use, poor cardiovascular health, etc.)
Tools that Can Cause Vibration White Finger
Any tool that vibrates is a potential cause for Vibration White Finger, especially when individual susceptibility is taken into account. If the use of the tool causes you "pins and needles" then prolonged use of it could cause Vibration White Finger. However, there are some tools that are bigger culprits than others.
