The Radius Pro Shovel is a good shovel. You can grip it over or underhanded with comfort and control. The round handle also gives you a better grip when thrusting or pushing into the ground.There is a slight bit of flex in the shaft where the head is pinned to the steel shaft of the handle. But it took more force than a wooden handle could take and it showed no problems with handling more.
The only problem is with the lower grip area. The length of the tool is great, but the head is too long and the shaft is too short. This means the lower grip area is to far back so that when you have a load on the shovel your lower hand is not at the balance point.
