The Best Christmas Tree Stands

The Best and Most Ergonomic Christmas Tree Stands

By , About.com Guide

I've put up a Christmas tree for twelve years now.  I have five Christmas tree stands.  Some are hard to use.  Some break.  Some I lose the parts for.  And some just got outclassed by the next thing on the market with better ergonomics.  To make your life easier I've put together a list for you on what to use and what not to.

Before you buy a Christmas tree stand make sure you know what you should be looking for.

1. Standtastic Christmas Tree Stand

The Standtastic Christmas Tree Stand is my top choice for holding my Christmas Trees. I haven't found a better stand yet.

This tree stand operates differently than any other so all those features I've told you to look for before you buy a Christmas tree stand don't exactly apply to this one.

2. De Por Vida Heavy Duty Christmas Tree Stand

This is one of the best Christmas tree stands around. When it comes to a good, ergonomic Christmas tree stand go old school - heavy gauge welded steel.

3. Plastic Basin Christmas Tree Stand

These Christmas tree stands come in a number of varieties. They are a good option. They hold trees securely and supply enough water, but they are a pain to secure the tree in.

4. The Basic Stand

This is the most basic of basic stands you can get. And you can get them almost anywhere. But you shouldn't.

They are weak and flimsy and don't provide much water for a thirsty tree.
