The Discovery 665 Bluetooth headset has three main human-machine interfaces: the earpiece, the microphone and the buttons. Secondary communication is provided through colored lights.The earpiece is the main physical interface, since that is what you will be touching 95% of the time you use the Discovery headset. With three earpiece sizes to choose from, you are sure to get a comfortable and positive fit. An ear loop is provided if you need more stability, but the earpiece itself should be enough to secure the headset to your head.
The microphone registers automatically and does not require any finicky adjustment. The microphone picks up your voice very well, and the noise cancellation keeps background noise out of reception.
Three buttons operate the Discovery 665. Two volume buttons raise and lower the volume and, when pressed together, mute the sound. A third button turns the headset on/off and answers/hangs up calls. When in doubt, just hold the button longer and wait for a flash of light or a beep.
