Trigger Finger Symptoms

Trigger finger symptoms do not need an injury to proceed them. They may start after periods of heavy hand use or appear out of the blue.

Trigger Finger Symptoms

• Swelling
• A stiff finger
• Pain when flexing your finger
• A clicking sound when flexing your finger
• A popping sensation in your joint(s)
• A catch or stutter when flexing your finger
• Soreness at the base of the finger
• A tender lump in your palm
• A painful snapping when flexing your finger

In severe cases the finger cannot be straightened without the aid of the other hand.
