Improving the Ergonomics of the Nicaraguan Coffee Farmers

The Seattle Times had an interesting article on the poor design of the basket used by Nicaraguan coffee farmers. A University of Washington lecturer, Kate Stewart, is endeavoring to aid the farmers in what could be a great ergonomic and humanitarian outcome. Something as simple as a better basket could affect the lives of these coffee farmers immeasurably.
