Amazon Improves the Ergonomics of the Kindle

By February 24, 2009

Follow me on:

The Kindle 2, Amazon's digital book reader, has just been released. It's a marked improvement over the original Kindle with some great ergonomic improvements.

Since reading paper is much easier on the eyes than reading a screen the display is the key. Using an electronic paper technology the screen seems to do the trick with a display roughly the size of a paperback page, with 16 shades of gray and crisp edges to letters. I don't think it'll replace my bookshelves, but the Kindle 2 is definitely going in the right direction.

My question is how do you try to design a 10×10 kitchen with 3 doorways. I have stovew/small cupcoard on one wall then door, frigde in corner, dishwasher beside it then sink small amount of side board space for toaster.on the right to a door to the porch w/ window beside that.turn right again to a blank wall with shelves and Micro stand, then door and back to the stove. Have no Idea where to begin with this room so broken up with doors not enough cupboard space. Can you think of any Ideas to help. The door between micro and stove goes into dining/livingroom area. The door between stove and fridge goes into the hall.?????????? Thank-you Marilyn
