The Details of Someone Else's Desk Ergonomics

Tuesday November 18, 2008
Black Belt at 50 (a.k.a. BBat50) has been keeping a blog about his journey to becoming a black belt at the age of 50. He's also been blogging about his back problems. He's surmised that most of his back problems are due to the poor ergonomics of his desk. In his blog about his desk ergonomics he's taken control of his own ergonomic evaluation. He measures everything out and finds out what the cause of the problem is and then derives a way to address it.

This is a perfect example of how I hope to help my readers. By providing you with the information and understanding of ergonomics and how to apply it's analytical tools you can evaluate your own situation and make things better. Since ergonomics is personal and everyone is different, to get the most out of it you really have to evaluate products, environments and situations with you specifically as the user.
