iPhone at a Discount

Sunday September 9, 2007
Apple has just announced that the price of the iPhone has been reduced by $200. They have also discontinued the 4 GB model. If you have been waiting to take the usability plunge then this might be a sign.

If you feel you have been ripped off because you bought the phone right out of the gate and they dropped the price two months after you are not alone. Steve Jobs has written an open letter to all iPhone owners. In it he states the reason for the price drop. He also offers a rebate to any who bought the iPhone within two weeks of the announcement. For the early adopters a $100 credit to the Apple Store is on the way so don't feel to bad. You can put that credit towards the purchase of a new iPhone Touch.
