Pint-sized, Penagain Pencils

Monday July 30, 2007
New stuff from the Penagain front is here. The fantastic ergonomics of the crutch-style pen has been shrunk for the kids. The Twist N Write is a smaller version of the Penagain that is correctly sized for use by children.

The ink has also been replaced by a 2mm thick #2 lead. Erasers now reside on both sides of the "Y" as well. Add in the cool form factor and kids should love this. Parents should love it too since the improved control can lead to improved penmanship. Not to mention the pencil is less stressful to use so homework should get done with less complaining about the hand hurting.

There is even the intriguing possibility that the Twist N Write pencil can help ADD/ADHD kids with their school work, as reported by the mother of one user.
